The CCK Communications team & Technology and Innovation team are responsible for a lot of the creative and media content produced by CCK. For instance the CCK website and blogs are managed by this team, as well as some of the photography, graphic design, video content and media library. The team includes an array of talented journalists, writers, web editors, graphic designers, photographers, video editors, IT professionals, animators and more, some of whom eagerly volunteer many hours each week to serve what is an increasingly important area of church life; the engagement; artistically, culturally and technologically, with CCK, the city of Brighton and the world beyond.

Tony and Claire Coggan: A Family that loves Jesus.. Radically Tony: I became a Christian in 1972. Before I allowed God to take control of my life, I would have said that I was a conservative, God fearing, hardworking person but who could always do better! I thought that with more effort and more self-discipline I would succeed. But I never seemed to until someone showed me that Christ, by dying on the cross, had done all the hard work for me.

So why develop an iPhone app? Why not just watch the videos on your computer at home? Isn’t it the same content? What’s the point? Creating an iPhone app enables those already making use of the content to do so in a fashion that may suit them better. In essence it is the same content as the website, but now everything can be viewed or listened to on the move (on the bus or the train!) without the need for a computer or laptop. The media is available to download too, so can be stored on the phone and enjoyed later.

Lena Newman reviews The Women's Day event conducted on the 13th of Feb.. It was absolutely amazing and so encouraging to see so many women gathered in one place last Saturday, united despite clear differences in age, race, culture and background - but all desiring to meet with God, engage with the word and expectant to hear His voice. The sense of momentum and genuine excitement built as four hundred women realised that being sold out for Jesus in this city could change it's face forever. Admittedly I felt for the handful of males in the room, (who were outnumbered by a hundred to one!) and I was very grateful for their willingness to serve us. After a brief intro by our lovely host Kate Virgo, we kick-started the day with amazing worship and met with the Spirit in a powerful way.

Doug and Alison Davis - CCK Pioneers Doug: We became Christians when we were very young. I was brought up in a Christian home. My father was a soldier in the Navy during World War 2. He wasn't a Christian but when he was 20, he met a Scottish guy who led him to Jesus. That had an effect when he came home after the war. He was very excited and enthusiastic about what Jesus had done for him. He would go to the docks and share. After the war, he joined the police and was involved with Police Christian Association.

CCK is proud to announce the arrival of the CCK iPhone app! In development for the last few months and pioneered and designed by Brightec, (a Brighton based company run by a CCK church member) it is now available in the iTunes app store. This free application is the latest facility for people the world over to get hold of the preaching that happens every Sunday at CCK. If you are one of the 37 million people worldwide that owns either an iPhone or iPod touch, this app will enable you to access the whole media backlog as well as audio and video downloads of the very latest messages. This features preaching from Joel Virgo, Terry Virgo, John Hosier and others.
