Alpha.

The Alpha course is designed primarily for people who aren’t churchgoers, people attend for a variety of reasons. Some are seeking to find out the meaning of life or find out about different faiths, and some have perhaps been to church in the past but haven’t felt that they’ve understood what the Christian faith is all about. Alpha is a great opportunity to get questions answered in an informal environment.

What's it about?

Alpha is a free six-week course and is run throughout the year, here at Church of Christ the King. The evening kicks off with a free meal (prepared by a professional chef!) where you can enjoy food while getting to know other people on the course and a speaker will then give a short talk which looks at a different aspect of Christianity each week. This is followed by a time of discussion in small groups, which is a great time for you to ask any questions you have and share your thoughts and opinions.

The talks cover topics like; Is there more to life than this? Why did Jesus die?

When is the next course & how do I sign up?

We run courses regularly through the year. Please select your nearest Alpha Course in the right hand column (under Events) to find out more information and to sign up.
