David Fellingham
He is a songwriter, with lots of well-known worship songs to his credit, including God of Glory, At Your Feet we Fall, There's a Pageant of Triumph in Glory, In Every Circumstance of Life, Blessed Be, Shout for Joy and Sing, Ruach and Day of Favour, to name but a few.
He’s been writing songs and composing classical pieces all his life, and was a music teacher in a secondary School before following the call of God to serve him in church leadership. He became an elder of CCK in the very early days of 1979, and has been central to the development of several of the musicians and worship leaders in the church, providing encouragement and wise counsel to such as Paul Oakley, Stuart Townend and Kate Simmonds.
He works closely with Patrick Harrix and the CCK Orchestra, and has been conducting the Alethian Orchestra for several years.
Dave is delighted that he has been able to encourage bands such as Opus, the Fabulous Sister Brothers, Phatfish, Seeker and the Ziz Horns as well as working with musicians who focus primarily on secular audiences. |
