Training: Impact Year

Impact at CCK is a voluntary year serving the church full-time. It is an opportunity to dive in the deep end with God, taking risks practically, financially and spiritually!

You will also meet regularly with other Newfrontiers Impact trainees for residential training at one of several training bases around the country where you will receive teaching from experienced and gifted teachers and leaders. This is an ideal opportunity for young and old alike and it's open to anyone over 20. It's also open to any Christian, whatever your churchmanship, although your training will be based in a Newfrontiers church.

Subjects will include everything from The Doctrine of God to Handling Money, from The Church to Mission, End Times to Leadership. This is a year in which you will grow dramatically in your knowledge and experience of God.

11 months full time, from September 2007 – August 2008

How much will it cost?

The Impact Team fee is £1000. We usually find that your home church will be willing to pay 50% of this. CCK will also make a contribution of £35 per week as pocket money. You may be able to claim Housing Benefit in addition.

What next?

If you are interested, please fill in the application form and either email it to office@cck.org.uk (subject 'Impact Application',) or send it to Church of Christ the King, address below. We will then organise an initial interview to discuss your hopes for the year and suitability for your proposed specialised field. If at this point you would like to go ahead with the Impact Team you will be invited to complete a more detailed application form, provided by Newrontiers.
