Becoming a Member

CCK places a strong emphasis on church membership, as we seek to build the body of Christ, and one of the best ways to ensure that you are cared for and have opportunities to serve and exercise your gifting is to belong to the church.

Becoming a member is not complex, but it makes a public statement that you align yourself with the core values and beliefs of CCK, and that the elders receive you as someone under their care.

Spiritual Growth

Growth is an important aspect of our lives and the same is true for our spiritual lives. Accepting Jesus Christ as personal saviour is not the zenith of Christian life, but rather the very beginning. It’s the start of a journey that shows you,how to let go of old habits, who you are in Christ  and more.

While it may be an exciting time of learning new things about God, there is usually a tendency to be content with just staying in the newness of that place. The Bible however, exhorts the new believer to expand his spiritual horizons and is a great source of pearls of wisdom for spiritual growth. The church itself offers a great place to grow and be challenged spiritually.

CCK takes spiritual growth quite personally. As such, there is a deep desire rooted in the culture of the church to see people continue growing in faith. The church hosts several events to help Christians grow in their faith as well as empower them to live the lives to which they have been called.
