Creative Arts
God is a creative being, and He has shared this attribute with us, giving us the ability to be creative, too. So we celebrate creativity in almost all of its forms. Historically, the Christian Church has focused on the arts of architecture, music and painting, but latterly drama, dance, photography, film-making, and many others have begun to be explored.
We enage in may creative activities, and occasionally run workshops and other events to help inspire those who want to explore new avenues.

In addition, we run a choir, and the CCK orchestra.
But there is so much more to creativity. The Hot Zones this summer will feature this in good measure, with performances from Tough Talk, the increasingly popular MC Tempo, Simon Brading, Zizz Horns, Phatfish and many others. Additionally, the tidying of gardens and clearing of rubbish is certainly a creative act! Not forgetting the painting skils of the Woodingdean Hot Zone team.
Check out the CCK worship team, where musical craft and endeavour is firmly joined to a commitment to honouring God, providing us with a superb music al foundation for our worship meetings. CCK elders John Hosier, Dave Fellingham and Terry Virgo have all published books, and mnay other church leaders and members have also made an impact in the bookshop's range of books and CDs.
